Christian Keim is Adobe’s Head of International Legal and Deputy General Counsel, based in London. Christian oversees a dynamic and diverse team of talent, comprising of 55 lawyers and legal specialists, who are based in 11 countries around the world. Prior to his international role, Christian led Adobe’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) legal team for 15 years.

Christian is a German and English qualified lawyer. Before Adobe, Christian worked in both Germany and in the UK, first for a German international law firm (from 1995 to 1999), and subsequently, Yahoo!, a technology organization at the forefront of the internet at that time. At Yahoo!, Christian held the position of Head of Legal for Germany, Italy, and Spain and later as Head of EMEA Legal (between 1999 to 2003).

His expertise spans a wide spectrum of legal domains, from technology and software licensing to competition law, employment law, compliance, and litigation, and endowed him with a profound understanding of the distinctive legal intricacies faced by tech firms, especially in areas such as data privacy, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and online safety.

Christian acts as mentor and coach to several individuals inside and outside of Adobe. As a leader, Christian’s approach is rooted in principles that prioritize ethics, business-driven legal solutions, empowering and elevating his team and leading by example. He firmly believes in creating an environment where every team member feels valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute their best to his team’s collective success.
